In our test garden we increased the size of the tomatoes on each plant as much as 6 ounces using a combination of reflective mulch and Arizona's Best Tomato and Vegetable Food, NPK 8-10-3. We also nearly doubled the number of tomatoes.

They're not only good for desert tomato growing, they also work to earlier crop yields in the short season climates.

We have adopted the use of both the red and silver on all our test beds. We use red over the soil when planting and put silver under the sprawling vines as they grow. Sometimes, vice-versa.
